Reservations
Reservations are not required but strongly recommended. SafeRide America reserves the right to accept or decline reservations based on availability. You can cancel a reservation anytime without penalty. BE SAFE MAKE A RESERVATION NOW!

There are two type of reservations;

  1. A FIRM-reservation is for when you want to be picked up at a specific time. To guarantee a firm pick up time, the reservation must be held with a credit card.
  2. A FLEX-reservation is for when you are not sure what time you want to be picked-up. With a FLEX you can request up to a 2-hour window of time for a pick-up.

FLEX Example: I want to be picked-up around 1:00 or 2:00 AM or …somewhere between 9PM & 11PM.

When using a FLEX-reservation you must call as soon as you know exactly when you want to be picked up. We need a minimum of one hours notice. The sooner you call and give us a firm pick-up time the more likely it is for us to be there when requested. We do not care if you change your mind 10 times. We understand.

We will always do our best to meet the firm pick-up time. However, for us to give you a flexible reservation, you must be flexible with us on the pick-up time.

You may contact us to make a reservation in the following ways

Reservation Changes and Cancellations
You may change or cancel your SafeRide Service FLEX-reservation anytime without penalty. If you make a FIRM-reservation you change or cancel a reservation up to 30 minutes before the firm pick-up time. The only time you would be charged a fee for canceling a reservation is if the drivers are en-route to come and get you. SafeRide America reserves the right to accept or decline reservations or changes to a reservation based on staff availability, traffic conditions or inclement weather.

Waiting Time, Scheduled and Unscheduled Stops
We charge $60.00 an hour to wait. Minimum wait fee is $5.00. Waiting fees are applicable 5 minutes after SafeRide drivers arrive to pick you up or for any stops made along the way including;
• Bathroom stops
• Stops at a store or restaurant
• Stops to get gas
Stops at the ATM are excluded from additional fees

Multiple Reservations
When making a reservation, you can make multiple pick-up and drop-off requests. Multiple pick-ups and drop-offs must be made at least one hour apart. Multiple pick-ups and drop-offs that are less than one hour apart may be subject to waiting fees.

Pick-up Policies and Procedures
It is very important that you be ready to leave promptly when the SafeRide drivers arrive. A 5-minute grace period will be given for departure. To avoid waiting fees, departure from a pick-up location must be made within 5 minutes of SafeRide driver's arrival. Once the 5-minute grace period has expired you will be subject to a $60.00 an hour waiting fee to have the SafeRide Team wait.

Additional Passengers
There is no additional fee for extra passengers. Additional passengers are required to wear a seatbelt at all times when the vehicle is moving. Additional passengers that cannot legally fit in the car being driven must find alternate transportation. Additional passengers will never be allowed to ride in the chase car.

It is the car owners’ responsibility to ensure that all passengers in a vehicle being driven by a SafeRide America Representative follow all laws while the vehicle is in motion. Specifically;

• Vehicles may never contain more people than legal capacity of the vehicle.
